My love affair with the Belgian Shepherd started in 1989 with the acquisition of my first tervuren and continued through the 1990‘s with my breeding program under the kennel name “Klaar”. 

After a more than 10 year break, during which time I continued to compete in flyball and agility, I began breeding again in 2013 after carefully importing breeding stock from France. 

I love a beautiful Belgian of any variety but I am most partial to the Belgian Malinois, mostly due to my 15 year relationship with BISS Multi CH Gildas du Mas des Lavandes CDX who I still miss.  

I am a licensed UKC judge of Belgian shepherds as well as other breeds.  I have just been given AKC Conformation Permit Status license for Belgian Malinois, Belgian Tervuren and Belgian Sheepdogs.
